![]() ![]() The levels aren't these huge, open vistas you can get lost in while searching for collectibles anymore Rather, they are A to B linear with small divergions from the main path, that usually lead to the challenge door. This doesn't make things easier, mind you Only takes away a bit of control from the player. Why though? You can't direct your walljumps or do that little vertical wallrun thing you could do in world 3. While it is smoother, freerunning has been stripped down and simplified. There isn't even a squiggle counter anymore. Except for one (1) challenge room per level. Remember all those collectibles, challenge rooms, golf minigames etc. Three hours? Yea, I'd say the game is pretty short. Defeating previous enemies seamlessly merged combat and freerunning Now, these are seperate things. ![]() ![]() Plus, having to stop and fight using normal pen attacks really takes away from the fun of slinding, rolling and jumping on enemies. While the combat certainly has improved, I didn't enjoy being forced to use it. The only way to kill them is to use the fountain pen. After the first few levels, all enemies are replaced with ink monsters. ![]()
